The Briah Cobb Page

This is Briah scanning the fields for rabbits from the window seat at Merlindale, a Scottish country house named for its proximity to Merlin's fabled final resting place on the banks of the Tweed.

After a decent interval of 18 months, we decided to get another Springer Spaniel. Her name is Layla and she has her own web page here.

Briah was a pure Scottish Springer Spaniel, i.e. she was born in Scotland, of parents that were both working dogs of the English Springer Spaniel breed.

In 1994, she moved to Florida, then Virginia and California, before settling back in Florida in 2001. Briah passed away quietly on the 22nd of July, 2003. Now she roams the heathery hills of Scotland chasing rabbits through the mists.
